Fill out and submit our New Hire form

Get Contracted

Your Manager will register you in our Hierarchy Compensation Management System (HMCS).
You will receive 4 emails:

1) Your HCMS Account setup link
2) Your personalized link to SuranceBay and NLC – contracting request platform

Complete Your Contracting Requests In SuranceBay

You should have received an email from HCMS Support with SuranceBay Link


  1. Login to HCMS
    • There should be a pop up box that informs you to verify your NPN.
    • Once completed it will direct you to NLC- AMERICO and AMERICAN AMICABLE
  2. SureLC
    • Create an account.
    • Fill out all the information.
    • Then do requests for Mutual of Omaha, John Hancock & AIG
  3. Prosperity
    • Locate the Email we sent for the contract (If you cannot find this email let me know and I can resend it)
  4. HCMS
    • Once you have completed the steps above you will go back onto HCMS and request the rest of the carriers.
    • At the top left hand corner there will be a + inside a small box. Please click this and select “New Carrier Request”
    • If you are requesting a carrier for the first time select “New Carrier – SureLC Link”
      • The carriers you will be requesting are Aetna, TransAmerica, Great Western, Foresters
    • Once you start receiving writing numbers you will update your HCMS profile.
      • Go back to the + at the top left hand corner, select “New Carrier Request” again
        and this time select “Missing Carrier / Writing Number”
Check your contracting request in SuranceBay on a daily basis for any notes on your requests

    • It is Provided once you have written your first piece of Business
    • If you have an AML Certificate, please upload

Follow up with each carrier in 3 business days after your Contract Request changed to "Carrier" Status

Verify they have all your contracting paperwork and that there are no outstanding requirements

  • Carrier contact info can be found :
  • Keep an eye on your email box for important messages and contracting confirmation from the carriers
    • Make sure to look in your SPAM and Promotional folders of your email
